You make a good point about common sense. It seems to be rare and something that many students today do not want to invest in so they can be critical thinkers and problem solvers.

You would think that common sense would be easy to adapt to but it's just not that easy to do. I teach alot of procedures classes and I may think that some everyday things such as waking up in the morning and brushing your teeth is common sense. I did realize that I can't think that all people use common sense. Being patience is my goal.
