Ready to go!
I have daily planners that I have preparred for the courses that I teach. I use these to keep track of time lines and course content. I find that they also help to make sure I have additional time for pass arounds, hands on demo's, and additional Q & A time from the students. Does anyone else use this method?
They have worked so well that I have copied them for other instructors and campuses that teach the same material within these courses.
AS long as the plan is flexable as not all students learn on a time line. Other wise it is cool.
I hear ya brother. It's easier if you have a plan and stick to it. Well, you may not always be able to stick to it. In that case you'd have to improvise. Then you would have another plan.
I definitely think that this method of planning helps us that teach classes that are hands-on. It allows for the delivery of the course content to run much smoother with timelines attached to each topic/task.
Yes, I use a daily planner for the same reasons you listed. I also teach several courses, the planner helps me keep track of what comes next and what lab sheets are needed.
