Good question and I'm not sure how much you can teach in one class session. I know I set the standards for my course and then enforce them so at least the students get exposure for that session to what it is like to act and conduct oneself as a professional.

Increasingly it does seem that modeling professional behaviors is not enough. They seem totally unaware of the difference between the instructor's behavior and their own. Perhaps that is when we need to draw their attention to what they are missing - or better yet stop and immediately point out behaviors that do not meet the desired standard. "Call the student out" in class for texting instead of waiting to talk with them after class.
