What is the best resource material?

Some students can read and have a grasp on the information. Some students can look at pictures and have a grasp on the information. My question is would you recommend resource material that has both the write up and pictures or the pictures and bullet points? Is there a point where too much information on the resource material would be classified as a negative?

Rose Anne,
Having all these resources is such a great aid to you in your instructional planning and delivery. Many schools don't provide the resources you have so their faculty have to struggle to find the needed support. You have it in many different forms.

I found the best resource material was the textbook. The syllabus recommends the book and this is where all the assignments come from. Our courses had great books to read the information and prepare our leson plans. We also used other reference books such as ATI and we also used some internet programs.

Michael,
Are there any other resources you use in your instruction?

Indeed there is, we call it paralyses by analysis...

Kyle,
First if you prepare the resource material in more of a listing format you won't have a problem with too much information or it being perceived as being a negative. As for how you present it the more variety you can include such as both written and visual content the better. Another resource you can offer your students is a guided notes outline. This way they will see the key concepts and then fill in the supporting information under each heading.
