Your analysis is right on in terms of how students are coming into many of our classrooms and what their expectations are in relation to how content will be delivered and resources shared. A fast changing way of delivering content for sure.

I agree with you although it seems that public schools are walking away from this lately. My kids do not have text books in many of their classes and handouts are the rule of thumb. It almost feels like the text books are only used for difficult objectives. In my time text books were the course of action for the class and stated the lineal way to be successful in the class. Everything was in the text books. Well not anymore.
