Are classes are only 3 weeks long and the students all have name badges on. This is required.
I have enough trouble remembering my own name from time to time. :) Student name badges are a great aid to my memory.
Name badges seem to help the instructor be more personal with the student and also hold them more accountable as well as help with learning thier names.
Yes, three weeks is very short, which is our course cycle as well.I do make it my personal goal to know there names by the end of the first week,which is very challengeing when we teach mutiple course some times.
I would agree, our students on a three week rotation of classes. By the time I remember all of their names, they are ready to move onto another course.
OUR classes are also three weeks long and the students are required to wear name badges.
The name badges are a good idea for security reasons as the faculty can see who should be on campus. Also they benifit the intructors as they can now call on the students by name by simply looking at their name badges. Since we have upwards of 30 different students every three weeks, remembering names can be a challenge.
