First Day
I think the first day is the most important day for the students, I let them know what we will be doing the whole course with a daily planner and this sets the pace , then we talk about rules and regs. and how i follow rules everyday and i will set an example for them and continue this from day 1 to day 15 .
If handled properly,the first day will set the pace for the rest of the course for the instructor and the students. If the students leave the first day having a clear understanding of the course objectives and goals, they will have the tools that it takes to organize themselves and to set their own personal goals for the best possible results.
I agree...if the students know what is going to happen step-by-step and what we expect of them they are more at ease and better prepared to learn.
