First Day of Class
Instructors should always be prepared on their first day of class. Know their material and have the classroom ready to go. As student start coming in the classroom, instructors can make a personality assessment as the students enter the classroom. This has worked for me.

First day of the class is very important for students as well as for an instructor.First impression is the best impression. First of all i need to be in class early(not on time). Since very fist day of the class, both students and instructors are new for each other. As they are coming to the class they need to feel comfortable too. First introduction and then distributing prospectus which includes-Name of the instructor,their contact information, availability,course syllabus, course outline, required textbook and other supply, homework assignments and quiz and its due dates, some of the important school policy.
And after all this introduction, before i start my actual class, i would like to give pretest which will help me to understand students and their level of understanding.Which ill help me to prepare my lesson plan too.
