I am a believer in the four styles of learning, have the students read about the subject, give a lecture on the subject, show them how to do the subject, and then let them do the subject.
I 100% agree.You have to teach material in this manner to be able to teach the whole class.

You are right about reinforcement. It has to be a part of the learning process. Application helps with retention and for making the course content relevant.

You are right on with your comments. Students need to have repetition and reinforcement to retain. They are the 3 R's of learning.

I totally agree with this - repetition is key but I also add reinforcement. The more students do the more they retain.
The more you do it the better and faster you get.
I feel repetition is the best reinforcement.
I agree with the phil. but what about reinforcement after completing the project?
