I enjoy trying different delivery styles to motivate and encourage class participation. Because you need to connect with all of the students based on their individual learning styles.

I agree as well. Students learn better and stay engaged longer when there is variety in delivery. We need to remember that as we plan our lectures.

I think you need to have different delivery styles as well. It keeps the students interested and on their toes. Plus, it's nice for them to know that it's exciting to learn in your class and not the same old boring stuff.
As an instructor it is rewarding to see a positive impact on certain students when my delivery style has changed. This certainly reinforces the need to vary my teaching style based on my students learning styles.
