I think that the delivery of material should be made interesting and throw facts in to make it interesting.Also ask them questions to keep them involved?

I think most classes should involve high-energy levels from the instructor to make the lecture memorable and exciting. Students should be totally involved hence the lecture should have impact.To make an impact the lecture must be engaging, interesting--not drab, slow and with low energy levels. The professor is almost like a performer who has to hold the attention of the audience. The lecture and its content is the performance.
I am not sure why this is called energy, but I do agree with you.
