Learning Styles
When teaching a diverse class many techniques should be used to make sure everyone is understanding the information being delivered.
I would recommend all. As instructors/teachers, part of teaching is to present your topic in a process. Talk about how it works. Use PowerPoint’s to aid in visual learning or the white board to draw a picture of what is happening. Have static displays and demos. Then have the student repeat what you've shown them and ask questions during the process for feedback. Keith
I would recommend using written materials such as handouts or powerpoints. Diagrams or videos to appeal to the visual learners, some hands-on activitiy for the kinesthetic learners and some lecture for those who learn by listening.
What techniques would you recommend?
