Learning styles
Understanding how to identify and incorporate learning styles in daily activities is critical to keep all students engaged in the course.
I agree, although our schedule can be tough given that we get new students every 3 weeks. Being able to quickly gauge the class and figure their learning styles out is key.
Hi Darren - Welcome to ED 103. You make the point exactly - unless the instructor knows his students learning styles he/she cannot adjust their delivery. Susan
we have alot of options for different learning styles. That does not help if the instructor can not or does not understand the students needs for their learning capabilities.
We here at our school use these techniques in our curriculum already , I think realizing a students learning style may come into play when additional tutoring is approched weather to discuss the material or to take them to lab and do hands on with the material could make a difference.
