I think knowing how a student learns will help the instructor a great deal relating the course information. Also, it helps the instructor to create a variety of activities to keep the class interesting.

Great post! This is very true. Determining whether a student is an auditory, written, visual or kinesthetic learner allows you to gear your course to each individual. This allows you to create PowerPoints, activities, discussions and handouts that allow each learner to obtain the information from the course in a way that works for them.
