It is always important to use more than one delevery method to give course material. Keeping an open mind in the first day or two of meeting the new class will allow you time to survey what styles you will need to use to best suit everyone.

I believe that some instructor get caught up with a style that is comfortable for them and forget to address the other learning styles of learners. I believe learning to adapt to situations and going with the flow of class is a god thing in this field of education. I am personally a person that does like to be lectured to but that doesn;t mean that lecture are not important. In agree with you that

I strongly agree instructors must be more flexiable
Yes, every class is comprised of different individuals. What works best for one class might not be the best for the next class. UPS and Fedex seem to be the main delevery methods, but there are several others.And not all students enjoy wearing a suit, even if it is the current style.
