Learning styles
Using as much variety in delivering one's instruction will maximize student learning and retention.
thats the important thing that as instructors we need to be able to adapt to all learning styles.
As a culinary instructor I incorporate all four learning styles on a daily basis. In the kitchen or Lab, I use auditory and written when reviewing the recipes and lesson plan of the day. When we execute our recipes, the visual and kinesthetic sensory modalities are used. I deffinately agree that the variety of delivering one's instruction does maximize students learning and retention.
I highly agree, we as instructors must understand that our students are diverse in many ways. We must do our best to make sure that we are cultivating great thinkers in our classrooms. Always remembering that they are our future leaders.
