You have to choose your teaching methot to fit how the student retain the information you present to them.

I teach in the fashion design program at my school. You can imagine that most of the students are very visual and hands on. I am now teaching a new class that is all book learning and I have had to figure out a way to make this class more visual and hands on. I learned after taking ed106 to do something exciting during the 2nd half of the term so I set aside a day to do nothing but be creative. We work on altering something old into something new and the students love the break and learn a new skill.
