Kinesthetic Learner
I consider myself a kinesthetic learner, but sometimes I feel listening to the lectures and rehearsing them to someone is what gives me the best retention of the material, am i still kinesthetic or audio visual?

In classes where it is applicable I try to find enough resources and supplies so a student can mimic my actions on any given skill. That way, the 'visuals' can watch me, the 'kinesthetics' can copy me, the 'auditory' can hear me. The 'written' can take notes or refer to the handout.
A majority of people are better at doing things with there hands and retain the info , that's due to tactile info incorporates visual and muscle memory
Felix, I would say that you are both. I feel that a person can be both. As a nurse, I learn by doing, reading, and listening. So I feel that that makes me a kinesthetic, audio, visual, and written learner. I feel that it is important for people to embrace more than on style of learning.
Hi Felix, Thanks for your post to the forum. You may be equally comfortable learning with both styles. Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career.
