Keeping it fresh
In my many years of schooling I always appreciated the instructors who used many different approaches to getting the material across to the students. Lecture, Power Points and other visual aides, Guest Speakers, round table discussions is the approach I utilize. I attempting to reach all the different learning styles out there so everyone has a fair shot at grasping the material.
Hi Jason, I have had students enrolled in an online program tell me that they did not know they would need a computer! Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career.

I mainly teach computer lab classes and one especially is a hands on only option (document processing). I was caught off guard one time when a student asked if she could write the assignments instead of typing them, because she could learn them easier. It's a typing class. So, unfortunately not all classes lend themselves well to different learning styles.
Not being a seasoned instructor, I struggle with tools for diverse learning styles. My courses, accounting does not lend to much diversity. I am open to suggestions.
