As class goes on, it is always important to quiz students about the subject matter as class goes on.

My quizes always are helpful to prepare for the test I give out.I have noticed it gives a higher ratio of test passed.
I totally agree with you. It is very important to quiz the students through out the course. It allows you, and the student to know what areas they understand. And what areas they need to work on to better their knowledge of the course.
The quizes I like to give are always written. They have to pick a topic they learned this week and how it applies to one their daily lives now and how they will approach it in the future with employment.

In HTEC we only give them a end of the course final....but it is open book.
Yes, we give quizes as the class goes on. We give a quiz every friday. Every friday we give a quiz to the students and this counts for 20% of the students grade.
