asking questions

I have found that when starting the class each day it helps to recover the day before at the start. That way each student has an idea of what they need to review for themseleves or to ask questions on what they are unsure of.

I find this approach very helpful as well. It allows the students an opportunity to re-evaluate what they learned the previous day and get clarification on items that may not have really sank in before. This method also helps them to tie things together as we progress so all of the concepts we cover have relevance.

HI Lloyd- Welcome to ED 103! You are wise to do a review/questioning before proceeding with a new class. If our students have not grasped previous concepts, what we teach in the next lesson will probably be useless. Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career! Susan

I ask student question from the day before to get information from them to see how much they understood from that lesson before I go to the next lesson

Charles, I shole heartly agree withyou. Our students require constant reinforcement. This is an excellent way to reinforce the subject and gauge the overall intake of the class.
