Formative method
I find that quizzes work best for me when I evaluate students. It gives me a guideline of what information I need to go over and gives me a gauge of what other teaching methods I may need to use.
Lynne, that is a great assessment tool. We are teaching them real life education therefore real life scenarios are vital!

Yes quizzes work but I also like to use real life scenarios in my classroom. I teach medical assisting and we will pair up patients with student and give them a scenario from a doctor's office to do, after this is over the rest of the class gives thire opinion of how they feel the students did. The entire class takes turns with this.
