Learning styles
Instructors that can incorporate all four learning styles are well prepared for class.
we have to make sure that each is being treated the same no matter their level of learning.
Each student needs to be assessed differently but under the same applications.
Hi George, As you mention, finding a "balance" in delivery styles is important so that no one learning style is left out.

I like to give a basic learning style quiz at the beginning of class. I have a variety of teaching styles i can incorporate depending on which style a majority of the class leans towards. I also understand that i can leave the other students out so i have to find a balance.
I think the hardest part about testing each individual student in a different way based on their learning style is that it would be hard to be fair and objective. How can you give one student a certain grade, and another student a different grade, based on two different styles of test? If a student did poorly, they could just claim that the test format was not suited to their learning style.
Learning styles should also be considered when creating formative and assessment tests. Also, based on the students's various learning styles in your class students can be assessed using various testing methods. All students do not have to be assessed in the same way. It's called differentiating assessment based on student needs.
