different types of activities

It is important to incorporate different types of learning activitites in the classroom, so the instructor can send the message he or she is trying to explain and the students can understand better.

I find that I need to have lots of activities/assignments for the students who get done to quick. having to learn the different types of learning styles have been challenging

Hi Rick, You are very welcome! I am glad you enjoyed the course! Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career.

You are so accurate, I have usually 30 students, and the biggest challenge that I feel that I have is to try to figure out everyones learning style. Once I understand, everything goes so much smoother for the student. Thank you for all the ideas.

Incorporating different learning styles in the classroom is important for students to stay engaged and to get them hands on expereience to want them to come back to class.

I agree however we still need to strongly encourage our students to apply both levels of comprehension to assess their level of understanding (didactic/visual)

The important part to remember in sending messages to students is to take into consideration that every student grasps concepts in different ways. In my experience some student are better visual learners especially in a hands on course.
