True and False

When working right out of the text book I like the true and false because they have to understand what they are reading

I really like T/F questions its very challenging for students because they have to read very carefully and truly have an understanding of the topic.

I agree Jennifer,

that is a great idea by making the students cross out the words that make each statement false.

I use the true or false test to check students understanding of the subject mater. However, I like to test students understanding further by making them cross out the words that make the statement false.

I find T / F questions are more challenging for students and push them to understand the material.

I think that those who do well on true or false questions must know the information related to the questions.

I find the real value of true or false questions is that they are 'baby steps' in testing. Many of my students have not had a lot of academic success. A true/false test seems less intimidating for the first few assessments before moving on to more difficult exam questions.

True or False questions make students read more closely. Students find them challenging because one word can make the statement different. So they read more into the question and take more of their time understanding what they are reading.

i also find true and false challenging for the student because if they dont fully read the book they still might get it wrong.it teaches them to read all the way through.

When working with true or false answers the student can look back into the chapters to make a false answwer correct and at the same time know why the answer is false.

Feed back from my students is that they often find T/F questions more challenging.
