Allied Health Instructors should have a better pay

Highly qualified providers are teaching in the Allied health schools . Should they earn a better salary?

In an ideal world teachers would be better paid because they teach and train future leaders, industry titans, scientists etc.. But in the real world it will not be so. You teach because of your passion and love for your profession.
I do want better pay and working conditions, but "it ain't happening!"

Hi Mitessa, My mother used to tell me how much more money I could make if I went into the business world, but after 30+ years teaching I still love what I do!

Yes, We sacrifice time with our own families, counsel students, instruct multiple classes at a time per term, administrate for the institution, mentor, and equip our learners with the knowledge needed not only to do the job in the text and real world lessons, but we train them for our "Dream Jobs" and they go on to make more than we do. There is no incentive, or reward for our efforts, other than the Passion for what we do, and the expertise to do it well.

Of course.....future professionals should be trained by the best in their field (pass on knowledge )and If.....
You have the talent to teach ,
the knowledge to pass on,
the patience to transmit the information ,
the time to prepare a class,
you need to get pay accordingly....
