I agree , Nancy gave me the idea all the way back two years ago and I have been using it ever since. It never fails to excite the students and get them all geared up.

I use this method for review as well. It not only gets the students excited to participate, but it also enables them to focus and study in preparation for the exam.

Group work works really well when excitement is generated and the student are engaged. I like the Jeopardy idea as well.

I really like the idea of having students work in groups also because I think it would force them to not only listen to one another but think about the responses more before answering. I think Jeopardy review is a great idea!
