color adds more information; helps students see patterns

I use color to convene information
i.e. to draw the eye to follow a path
I found that color has helped several student
grasp concept that have eluded them in the past

George,
this is a great illustration of the practical use of these ideas.

Ryan Meers, Ph.D.

I learned from the navy about the effect of colors in that certain shades of green and blues were more passive. The interior of most ships berthing and passages were painted these tones to promote a passive condition. This is more of a story than anything, but I painted my weld booths these tone to do just that, to keep the tempers down. Works.

Larry,
this is a great approach; setting key concepts apart with boxes & bold lettering is another good method.
