Games

this is one area where I excel I have Jeopardy Risk and Wheel of Chance all made up for the different courses I teach the students love it I divide the room in half and the learning experience is unbelievable they help each other out they celebrate success it's just a good all round pleasure when they know and they know they know

I often use any reference material, that's subject related, as answers for an impromtu game show. The students just love it and the buzz in the room is invigorating

I have not used any games but are interested in learning how to set up Jeopardy game?
Thank you.

We have a wonderful jeaopardy game that we play with groups...Each team scores points and the team with the highest points doesnt have to clean our lab area at the end of the course. It seems to be a great way to recap at the end of a course and brings the students together through friendly competition.

Hi jason!

Would you please give me more details on how you make this work?

Thanks,

I use hangman and use it to put a spin on jeopardy. Always entertaining.

What types of topics do you teach with the Jeopardy and Wheel of Chance? Have you ever used Learningware's GameShow Prep software? They also have Millionaire, Tic Tac To and others. I like to divide my class by putting people with odd numbered birthDAY against the even numbered.
