All classes are different. You cannot stay on a set schedule, it depends entirely on the class. All learning styles are used to reach all students. I still find most students I encounter have a hands on type of learning.
Hi Jillian!
I try to make my PowerPoint presentations fun and interactive by leaving blank pages with the fun heading for making lists or writing student ideas down. Of course, this only works when projected on a white board. I'll even put games in my PowerPoint and provide that blank page for playing the game.
Good job!

Incorporating all the learning styles into each "lecture" ensures the best return on you investment. I have taught in both online and face-to-face classrooms, and find that by providing a PowerPoint visual with the lecture and handouts gives everyone something in the context or style they learn best.
i use all learning styles in my teaching and this keeps all focused for most of the time and when i start to loose them we get up and go to lab and get them back on track.
