is amazing to see how a student who is reluctant to talk in class blossoms when told they can do the work. Giving them verbal postitive feedback adds to their confidence in themselfs.
They definately look up to us, some possitive feedback can go a long way.
Praise in many different forms increases the student's confidence in the classroom. Just a simple word of encouragement, a well done, good job can go along way. Other students will see there are rewards and students who normally are somewhat reserved, tend to open up and join the learning enviornment.
