The technical words

in product ID using the two languages seems to be effective. Making it part of the test is even better and effective for the students to remember.

When I introduce technical words, I always have them written on the board at the end of the previous class session. That way, even if students don't look them up, they at least SAW them and aren't so anxious the next time they see or hear the word. I always write it our phonetically, too. The very nature of a technical word means students need to see how to say it properly without feeling insecure.
The next day, the words are still on the board. I use them frequently during the class and ask students to give examples throughout the day.
At the end of class, I put up the two or three (never more than 3) words for the next day.
