Roving eye contact with students is standard operating procedure. Moving toward a sleeping student usually brings him/her back to the classroom, however when you arrive and your target is still asleep, a slight desk bump completes the mission.l
The way I deal with students who ar efalling asleep, I make them stand up or go to wash their face.
