Excellent reminder Sharon about doing an instructor using a personal vidoe as a reminder of both strength and weaknesses. In addition, be sure that we don't let our egos get in the way when we review student course evaluations. It's about constructive criticism.

Communication is very important part of the students's educational process and we use non verbal communication and verbal communication, it is important that the students focus on the lecture not how the instructor that may be distracting. Students can be easily distracted from the lecture. If a instructor can't communicate effectively in the classroom the students will have to pay the price. I like the ideas of doing a video of a lecture and look at your stengths and weaknesses and learn from them.
