Movement in Class
Its helps you focus on all your students attention to your lecture. making sure you have eye contact with them all keeps them alert inc ase you call upon them for their input on the topic or something.
i belive that moving around the room keeps people awake and foucased
Rita,
Eye contact can communicate care & concern for the other as well as self-confidence & assurance.

True!..it has often been said you must keep eye contact with the person to whom you are talking to or looking at. Eye contact is important it tells alot about you. To me it shows security in one's self!
After I completed this module I discovered 2 things right away. The first one is that I do not move around the classroom enough, and the second is that I'm sure that I talk too fast. I believe that I will become better at classroom speaking and movement after participating in ED106
I agree Brittany! It keeps students alert and interactive.
Keep up the good work!

I like to walk around the classroom but I pause for a few minutes inbetween sections of the classroom so I can make eye contact with each student and they can connect with me at a personal level.
I think along with movement in class it also gives some energy to the room!
