to manage a class instructors needs to be prepared about the subjects. also needs to make all students to be focused. bring their attention to the subject matter.use examples and other objects to keep students focused.so instructors needs to be trained and updated knowledge. max knowledge is one of them.
Great point: they are paying customers. Part of this means that we need to make sure that the students are being respectful of one another & not robbing the other students of their desire to learn.

Yes its very important to keep in mind that the studnet are paying and that we are here to provide them with what they are here for. make sure that all the subject matter required for the course is covered. make sure that they have got the information and have learnt the skill adequates enough to go out and perform.
Absolutely & think it's also important to remember that our students are paying for these classes. Are we giving them return on their investment if we're not as prepared as we should be?

Teaching is a part of managing the class. Its important that one prepares well to deliver the content and aslo understand the level of understanding of a student. Every class is different. Sometimes knowing the type of learners you have will help us to be better at the way deliver the material and the reception will be better.
