More then one way to communicate
I find that multiple communication is a must to be successful in the class room. I use my voice, the white board, and demontrate. These three methods grab and are effective for most all students. The listening learner, the written learner and the visual learner.

yes, that reteaching or teach back of the concepts is a great way to help solidify the learning.

I also try to use different methods when teaching and find that if I show them, have them do it and then have them teach it to someone else it really sticks.
