Moving and eye contact

Just the tone of my voice can spark interest and is easy to see. By beeing up beat stron voiced allways positive and happy never fails with getting most of my stundent on the same field as equals almost.

i agree.being excited about the content tends to make the students excited as well.

I agree. When I lecture my tone also changes when there is important information I feel they need to know, student's catch on fast to changes in your voice.

The course introduced new communication skills to me. The technique of moving around the class , maintaining eye contact with the students is a great idea. I cant wait to impliment it into my course settings.

I never really thought about how important moving around in the classroom was. I think about some of my former instructors and I realize that when they stayed fixed in one spot I did tend to get somewhat bored with the lecture. I also really like to give good eye contact to anyone with whom I am communicatiing. Using a voice tone that is pleasant and smooth makes it easier for others to want to listen. I try to stay aware of using some voice inflection to keep the interest of my students. It really helps to keep their interest when you incorporate the elements of moving, voice tone and eye contact.

By having a strong voice it helps the students hear more clearly withought them always asking "What was it You said?" or "What did YOU ask?"

you are correct, also eye contact with every student helps. It lets them know they are part of the class also.
