I most certainly agree with this comment. I find some students actually depending on the same person to answer all of the questions and even come up with all the answers for the group discusssion. I've decideed to match the class with some of thier peers that they wouldn't normally sit by.

i find that some times when i let the students pick their own work grops, some times they are more interested talking and playing than doing the work, they wont have their friends in the field. when i set up the groups the students need to learn how to interact with someone that they haave no experience with.
