Balance groups

It a very good idea to balance groups, because
other students need to learn how to be more involve, participate.. many are to shy or lazy...alway need a strong leader..

Yes. At our institution we get a very wide range of background and skill levels. I like to make sure that those in need of more guidance and learning have someone with more experience and confidence in their group. That way, the more experienced student, who may find the work a bit less challenging, is tasked with being a leader and mentor, learning and developing in the process.

I fully agree, in the world of culinary arts, diversity is almost a fact of live, so during thier education diversity is tantamount.

Greetings Loida!

So very important for students to experience diversity. I am of the opinion that it makes a team member more able to be creative in thier thinking.

Keep up the good work!

I think it is really important for student to be exposed to a well diverse group of people younger, older different nationalities because in a real world we all have to work as a team in order for us to be successful.

Balancing groups through diversity gives the students the opportunitiy to bring various ideas from all ethnicities. This also is a good way for students to be introduced to other ways of learning.

I agree---
I assign my groups differently each time in order to avoid my students "getting used to" each others responses. This way we have groups that have stong and not so strong members each time
