How to address students when there are complaints about other members of a group.
Try to evaluate the criteria used to initially divide group. With those in mind, assess the merits of the student's claims. If her complaint extends beyond the criteria laid out, for example, other students aren't putting in their share, then it merits a group intervention. A group intervention is superior to individual in this case for they are working as a group as should be addressed as such when a real problem arises.
