Groups and the "aha" moment

Sometimes with more difficult topics ill have the class get into random groups and I have found it really helps with the understanding the information when their peers are helping them.

David, I have done this as well. You are right in that peer assistance seems to help. I do find that I must monitor groups to make sure there is true learning taking place for everyone, and that students who may not "really get it" aren't left behind.

David ,
this is a good idea as the groups do not always have to be working on a bigger project but these smaller learning groups can be helpful as well.
