It is important for students to work with people that they would not choose to associate with because in their work they will be forced to work with people from diverse backgrounds .

Forming a diverse group of students will bring different skills to the group. It helps to balance it out. Students can direct their strengths toward the group project which will help the projet to be stronger as a result.

The way I organize groups, is by playing games. I divide the class into groups. They study together in their group. I call one student from each group to represent their team, like family feud. I use bells. The student who ring the bell first, answer first. The student enjoy learning. Also, my test scores have prove this method of teaching is an effective way of remembering material.
I agree.by having a mixture of students it create an atmosphere of teamwork and different ideas.
