Helping students with disabilates.
When helping students with disabilates I always give them more time to get their progects finished. I will usualy give them more help than the other students.
I have found it really helps the student with disabilates when they are given more time and they do end up comprehending the information.
I don't give them more time, however, I do give the opportunity to work me on the assignment or work with a tutor. This helps the student understand and meet deadlines as well as take the necessary steps in develop the learning skills needed to succeed. BTW, "progects" is spelled projects.

I agree that giving students with diabilites more time helps them alot. I have also found that if they know that I am willing to give them time outside of the classroom to help they are more willing to work harder.
I agree. Giving the student more time to accomplish the task at hand will reduce some pressure during the last couple of minutes of class.
