classroom

I believe that technology may be a barrier in this concept of learning. We would have to make sure that all instructors are knowledgeable and up to date on technology advances before startig this process.

I agree during in-service faculty training, instructors should become more familiar and embrace the new and latest technology.

Without a doubt! It is possible that a new LMS would have to be introduced, so the instructors would need to become proficient at effectively using the new LMS. Besides that though, properly integrating pre-recorded videos, etc. would also play a major part in all of this. Converting a classroom from a traditional classroom to a flipped classroom is not necessarily something that many people would be able to do overnight. In some cases, a gradual transition is best. You don't want to put the cart before the horse.

I agree with this. It has taken me a number of years to become moderately proficient in technology and I still have trouble. As the digitally native generation move more into teaching rolls this problem should disappear.
