Multiple Intelligense
How is important use the multiple intelligence in a classroom?
I use visuals, hands on examples, discussion, and as many means possible to reach my students. It is an artistic course, and for the most part, my students are "visuals". With courses being more and more condensed, it is more and more important to understand individual students and their particular learning methods. I weave a question on learning methods early on in my course so that I know what type of learners I have in my classes.

In culinary it is very hands on and it helps to use this dynamic.
Having multiple intelligence is wonderful in a classroom, it gives other students an opportunity to see and experience different perspectives, a different facet in the learning process.

This is essential to the success of the large group of diverse people. No one person thinks alike or learns in the same way.

Students have different intelligences and ways of processing information. The more variety that can be offered to students helps them to be able to use their intelligences to acquire the new content.

What I do in the classroom is use pictures and also physical parts to touch and hold then we will discuse in groups once we come to an agreement then we apply it in the lab

An Instructor needs to understand this concept in order to be effective in the classroom. If they do not alot of the students need may not be met and they will not do well in the class.
Extremely! If you have individuals who learn best by working in groups and you only lecture in the class, this is a major way for you to miss educating these students...
