scaffolding

good stuff to apply in the classroom to help students reach their goal

I agree 100% helps build the understanding, a lot of great educational theories such as constructivism and social constructivism have made scaffolding a great learning resource for teachers.

This approach also helps when checking for understanding because you can see how they are moving along the scaffolding or if a part of the scaffold is missing and needs to be reviewed so that it can be a part of the total learning effort.
