RESULT EVALUATION

CLEARLY THE VALUE OF A RESULT EVALUATION IS A FUNCTION OF THE INDIVIDUALS INVOLVED. FOR THIS TO WORK , WE HAVE TO ASSUME THAT ALL PARTIES INVOLVED ARE CAPABLE OF LOGICAL DEDUCTIVE REASONING.

Luke,
This is a very good point because it may be easy to come up with a proposed solution that will not realistically work because of the lack of supporting data. The more data the more likely the right solution will be selected.

Agreed. I would add to this comment by suggesting that objectiveness is valuable in the result evaluation effort. I have observed numerous situations where subjective metrics were used during the evaluation phase and the contributions made to the team were counter-productive. One way to facilitate objectivity at this phase is to support any evaluation with factual data. If you base observations/evaluations with objective information, it helps frame the discussion into a cause and effect dialogue that can facilitate lessons learned and develop future process that are not unduly influenced by existing preferences and cultures.
