understanding students

This is so great. It's so true, the diversity information is so helpful, where their from, at what age and why they are here. A great starting point for a learning relationship!!

Petulah,
Yes it does because you then can offer instruction in the different student preference learning areas.

Knowing who your studentsa are and what their expectations of the course is very helpful in delivering the contents of the course to the students. It also helps you to know their individual learning styles.

Dear Eric,
I agree! Learning who the student is, Why they are at our school, what they wish to get out of the program. Will greatly help me understand the student. Understanding the student will help me teach them better. With the students knowing that I understand them will inturn take alot of pressure off of them and hopefully be alble to asorb more out of my teaching and just feel more comfortable.
