The older adults I teach come prepared to study. Many of them have never been to college before bu they are able to see by their life experiences that if they want to succeed, they must attend class regularly and study. It is helpful to the younger student when adults "show" them how to make it in college.
I Fully Agree when my older students tell their expierience in the workplace it helps.
Adult students set an example for learning motivation, for other students.

Very true, often times the adult students take a leadership role in class and lab settings also.
